Don’t be afraid, what will happen to you if you make this step, or you will lose the way.

If you make a step, it will create a way. Go for it without doubts, then you will know it.

If you believe that you will lose, you will. If you believe that you will win, you will.

Even if what you believe turns out to be false, we must believe that we will win in the end.

Not being able to have an effect on people’s mind/society with all your faith means you still have something that you must work on. (Shyouin Yoshida ~ A Japanese thinker in the end of Edo period)

Once upon a time

There were young people

rushing in the death, saying that ‘For my country’

Now

There are children killing themselves suffered from bullying

Dear God

Why didn’t you give them the courage to be alive

The evil people starting wars

bullies

With your ability

Make them kneel down

(Toyo Shibata ~ A Japanese modern poet from “Kujikenai de”)

Thank you for sharing those words of wisdom. I especially liked the first one, it was very encouraging. The last one was sad but true. That Torii was HUGE! By the way, who was that pretty girl in the ゆかた? Just finished watching your scope on Kimono’s. It was so interesting. Once again, you are SO happy when you are either wearing or talking about Kimono’s. Fun to watch you! Thank you for sharing your love of your Japanese culture.

    1. Hi Stephennn 🙂 I am glad you loved it! That is actually me who is wearing Yukata on one of the pics that I posted on here. thanks for calling me a pretty girl! 😛 Trust me, that Torii gate was much bigger than you could see on this pic. As soon as I arrived in Heian Shrine, suddenly that Torri gate appeared which was so fascinating I could not help capturing it. Thank you for your support as always on Periscope and my blog! See you around.

      1. You should visit the Morikami Museum in Delray beach Florida. Beautiful grounds and part of Florida’s History that most do not know.
